There are some reasons for the crack defects in injection molding. |
In the process of injection molding, we often produce some unnecessary defects for some small reasons, which will cause some trouble for our injection molding. Among these defects, the most common one is crack defects. So, what are the causes of cracks in the injection molding parts?
1. Large proportion of recycled materials is added in raw materials, which makes the material shrink directional or uneven distribution;
2. The raw materials are contaminated, volatile or dry;
3. Improper stripping design, small scale of mold release, thin wall of products and sharp corners and gaps, resulting in stress concentration;
4. The pressure protection and injection time are short, and the cooling time is too long or too short;
5. The mold temperature is low or uneven, the injection speed is slow and the pressure is low;
6. Improper molding conditions, high stress and poor performance;
7. Improper use of the mold release agent, and the after-treatment cooling of the products after stripping, etc.
